This project involved transforming an existing outdoor area into a smart, practical and low-maintenance space, combining resin bound surfacing with large-format grey paving slabs.
The original walkway between the house and garage consisted of older paving slabs that had become weathered over time. Our team at West Wales Paving prepared the existing area before installing a new dark resin bound surface, creating a smooth, seamless finish that complements the property’s exterior.
The wider project also incorporated large-format grey paving slabs, providing an attractive contrast against the darker resin and helping to define the different areas of the outdoor space.
The surrounding rendered retaining walls frame the finished area, creating a clean, contemporary appearance that brings the different elements of the project together.
The completed transformation has given the property a fresh, modern finish while providing a durable, practical and low-maintenance outdoor surface.
This project demonstrates how combining resin bound surfacing, patio paving and landscaping can transform tired outdoor areas into attractive, functional spaces that complement the home.
